This dirt road winds through protected park land. Keep an eye out for Tropical Kingbirds.

  • 6 miles

This is a steep road of sudden curves, but the descent at the end into the Basin is well worth the drive. The drive itself is well-worth the drive - you'll rise out of the desert into a mountain landscape. In fact, this road climbs almost 6,000 feet.

This is a route threading through the habitats of both songbirds, shorebirds, and waterfowl.

  • Paved

This road drives through mixed brush filled with birds.

  • 1 mile
