Welcome to Ramada - Port Arthur! Located on Highway 73, just a block from the Robert A. "Bob" Bowers Civic Convention Center, the Ramada features both interior corridor and exterior corridor guest rooms nestled around an outdoor pool, sun deck and lush green courtyard. A full service restaurant featuring daily breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as a Weekend Breakfast Buffet, is open at 6:00 AM for Breakfast and as late as 9:30 PM for Dinner hours. - Located near all of the major Southeast Texas oil refineries, the Ramada offers great guest rooms equipped with a microwave and refrigerator as well as Cable TV with all the popular news, sports, weather and movie stations including HBO. Meeting and catering rooms are available for 10 - 200 guests. - The Port Arthur campus of Lamar State College, near City Hall, is just 15 minutes from the Ramada. Gulf of Mexico coastal tourism is varied and always interesting. Pleasure Island, stretching 17 miles along the Coast, was once a secret anchorage of Pirate Jean Laffite, and is just 15 minutes from the Ramada. The Museum of the Gulf Coast features sports legend exhibits showcasing Native Southeast Texans including Jimmy Johnson of NFL Coaching fame and Babe Zaharias of golfing legend as well as area natives Little Joe Washington, Bruce Lietzke and Bum Phillips. The Music Hall of Fame features more than 43 Gulf Coast musicians including Janis Joplin, Tex Ritter, Johnny and Edgar Winter, The Big Bopper, George Jones and Tracy Byrd. Exit 9th Ave. Hotel is on the Right. From the West: I-10 East to Hwy 73 East Exit. Stay on Hwy 73 East, Exit 9th Ave. Straight at Stop Sign and U-turn and Hotel is on the Right.
