Air Padre Kiteboarding was first a kiteboarding school which has grown and now offers kiteboarding lessons (flat water), kitesurfing lessons (in the surf), kite repairs, watersports rentals, surfing lessons, and kitesurfing equipment sales on South Padre Island along the Texas Gulf Coast.

Braunig Lake is surrounded by cattail and bulrush and cut into by rocky peninsulas. The most common fish in the lake is the Red Drum, and Hydbrid Striped Bass and varieties of catfish are the next species sought by sportsmen. There are also some excellent largemouth bass.

The north part of the reservoir is surrounded by "bulkheads" rather than much in the way of plant cover, although cattail and flooded timber vegetate the southern reservoir. Largemouth Bass and Crappie are the most common fish in the lake.

The shoreline is rock rip-rap and cattail and bulrush and the lake has plenty of amenities for boater or fisher. Channel Catfish is the biggest sporting fish here.

The banks are steep and rocky, as only fits a lake called Canyon Lake. Flooded timber makes for excellent cover for fish, and the fish are active and hopping. Largemouth Bass is the most popular target for the angler, but White and Striped Bass are also sought after.

A boat ramp, drinking water, picnicking, tent camping, and a sanitary facility are available. Boating, skiing, and fishing are permitted on 750-acres lake.

Rocky banks and black willow give Fort Phantom a dramatic shoreline in spots. The most commonly caught fish are the Blue Catfish, Striped Bass and White Crappie.

It's only appropriate that the Greenbelt Reservoir should be green, the shoreline grown up with trees and cattail. Largemouth Bass is the most popular catch.

Located on the shores of Sam Rayburn Reservoir, Harvey Creek was completed in 1963. The area has a popular boat ramp which provides access to the lake even when water levels are low. Many lakes in Texas are best known as fishing reservoirs, but Inks begs to be boated for the rocky ledged and piles along the bank, and the clear water under the boat. Guadalupe and Largemouth Bass are common, however, as are sunfish and White Bass.
