The North Llano is a rarer treat than the South Llano or the Llano, as it's a dryer river. You'll want to catch it after a rain . . . otherwise, it's very difficult to canoe. The scenery is all the nicer for the difficulty and it's just as spectacular as that of the other rivers.

In many ways, the South Llano River is similar to the North Fork of the Llano River and the Llano River itself, but it's just a little more remote and the flow for a canoeist is just a little bit better. The scenery is incredible as the river moves through high banks and massive pecan trees.
