Junction is humid and subtropical and very green. Its summers can be sweltering, the town is up against the Llano River and its two forks, so there’s always somewhere to cool off. In contrast, Junction's winters are very mild and temperatures rarely dip below freezing. Spring can be wet and stormy, but for those who want to avoid the worst of the heat and the worst of the rain, visiting Junction in the fall is a nice middle ground.
