Laredo is located in southern Texas on the U.S./Mexico border. I-35 connects the town to San Antonio, 150 miles to the north. US 59 runs east towards Corpus Christi, while US 83 follows the Rio Grande south along the border towards Harlingen and the Gulf Coast.
